Mike Matuz
Founder & Chief Investment Officer
Mike is the architect behind Matson Venture's investment thesis and growth strategy. A seasoned entrepreneur and investor, he has built, scaled, and exited multiple ventures before founding Matson Venture to institutionalize those hard-won lessons. His expertise spans private credit, cash-flow assets, and operational turnarounds. Mike leads all deal strategy, capital deployment, and family office operations with a focus on long-term value and high-integrity partnerships.
Ben Madden
Strategic Advisor – Media & Brand Capital
Ben brings two decades of experience in media, branding, and revenue strategy. Formerly with Maxim Magazine as Chief Revenue Officer, he led the revitalization of legacy publishing into a multi-platform global brand. Today, he advises Matson Venture on deal positioning, narrative strategy, and monetization models—particularly in brand-driven, direct-to-consumer, and media investment opportunities.
Dee Marion
Head of Investor Relations
Dee manages capital relationships and communications with our investor base. With a background in financial services and client management, she ensures our partners receive transparent updates, curated opportunities, and consistent alignment with their financial goals. Dee is the bridge between our family office and those who invest alongside us.
Amanda Matuz
Director of Operations
Amanda oversees the day-to-day operations across the Matson Venture ecosystem. Her leadership ensures all moving pieces—from legal to logistics to internal coordination—function with precision. She is the operational backbone of the organization, managing critical systems while keeping the team aligned, efficient, and focused.
